Thank you grindstone, personaly I think this event is both revealling and promising,

An alternative to the IBM RHEL MS alliance for dominance of linux through applications and
system parts is needed in all areas.
People should think about what happens if source code is are only stored in places controlled
by the oligarchy trumpland and its big tech moguls and is dissapeared when convenience or total
control wishes dictate. For a long time that big federation which calls itself USA was a democracy
and reasonably reliable in some ways, now, very obviously both are no longer the case.
