I’ve always had a good impression of PCLinuxOS too.

Long ago when there was MEPIS, before antiX in fact, PCLinuxOS and MEPIS were my two systems that I would use when I was away from the house. Since that was so long ago I believe that I used Live CDs in read only mode to access Email and online forums,

It was back in 1995 when I was looking for free Email programs so that I could handle personal communication without company resources and I also used my own equipment. That was also my motivation to own my own equipment.

Mandrake was a key distribution for me in the nineties but Slackware was my very first distribution. I didn’t get to regular Debian usage until 2001.
