@olsztyn and I have been working together on the MX Linux forum to get Xlibre working with older Nvidia graphics cards.
Olsztyn is now happy with the ‘nouveau’ driver and will continue to use Xlibre even for Nvidia.

I think this is yet another positive point in favour of using Xlibre.
I know that other antiX users also have old Nvidia cards for which there is no longer a proprietary driver available in the Debian repositories.
