Well, the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Bears “switched spots” in their division: Chicago went from fourth to first, and the Lions went from first to fourth; all four teams in their division still won more games than they lost, but none of them were good enough to move well in post season play. Also despite the fact that they were first, the Lions defeated the Bears both times they played last season. Neither team has won a championship (other than their own division) in decades, the Bears drought goes back, I believe, to the 1980s and the Lions have not won a championship since 1957!

I believe that the Green Bay Packers were the most recent winners; they’ve not done much in either the “Brady” or “Mahommes” era!

The Bears definitely have a game changing quarterback now, but there’s decent competition across the league. It’ll be interesting to see what happens as the latest young players join their respective teams.

It appeared that the Dallas Cowboys received several good draft picks this year; I wonder how that will affect the league – The Cowboys and Eagles can “go at it” and it’ll be interesting to see what happens there too.
