Just looked into the S17alsa-utils runit-core script.
Looks quite complex for me to fully understand, but in the worse case we could use a wrapper to implement into both runit & dinit.

I’m sure it can be simpified & work just as well (if not better) just by looking at @eric ‘s 66 service here.
I’ll have a stab later to create a 66-service-alsa package & maybe use that to create scripts for other inits.
Experience has taught me that if something works well in any s6 init, it can be made to work with other inits as well.
