Sometimes, recent posts http://www.antixforum.com/forum/recent-posts/ (as linked from the left-most roll-out menu) gets willie wonky too.
May be, (some) plugins and WordPress do not mix well.
Do the plugins and/or WordPress have some logs that can be explored for errors? Such as “Failed to update DB of recent posts due to…”?
I know that the intention is to keep forum hosting low-effort and low-cost (until rich benefactor(s) step in) and use as little plugins as possible.
Nevertheless, the person/people responsible could be asked about these inconveniences.
