    Maybe my final comment on the subject of pipewire

    Using as a substitute for PulseAudio/JACK/ALSA

    Debian 11

    As per Simon McVittie, “This is not a supported scenario for Debian 11, and is considered experimental.”

    It may break certain applications, lack certain functionality, or not work at all.

    Simon is quality assurance at Debian, I have repeatedly experienced what his statement says, that is not the real problem,

    I can usually fix things myself, new or inexperienced users can not.
    Sadly the issue has been around for far too long and may to some extent be hardware triggered on top of the inadequate code
    for pipewire switching.
