It sounds like you will be satisfied if Israel is restrained from using military weapons, or perhaps stripped of military weapons.
One of my problems with that as the sole measure is it doesn’t deal with the militarized groups among the Palestinians, and it doesn’t deal with the regional nations that provide military weapons and actions against Israel.
(This ignores the poor situation for Palestinians in the two areas adjacent to Israel…but that is not necessarily very different than in many other poor countries and is pretty much ignored by the world.)
I believe that the needs of both peoples living close to each other in this small territory need to be successfully addressed to produce a solution to the conflict, and external groups with their own agendas need to be “neutralized”. This seems unlikely to occur in the next few years or decades, as similar problems around the globe also persist seemingly indefinitely.
