    I can only use the 6.6 kernel with the system I’m using to test right now.
    I may get a chance to try this out with another system, just not right now…

    So far, two things do not work unless you manually tweak or configure them:
    repo manager and standard ALSA sound; Pipewire sound is fine.

    I’ve got only wireless; that’s one reason I need the newer kernel is to
    recognize my wireless card included.

    I wonder if I could get wireless going on the new system through a
    USB-based Archer/TP-Link AC600 high gain wireless dual band
    USB adapter. I’ll try the 5 series kernel just in case it’d work
    with this newer system; if so I can test the 5 series kernel here;
    otherwise maybe later with another system.
