I was the one or one of those who raised this, and I came to the same conclusion
after repeated tests; I believe that I reported this too, if not, I’m saying it now:
no ACPI or other temperature component issues.
One of my systems tends to run warmer than my others, but heat dissipation is good
and it isn’t statistically significant, which I concluded after two days of repeated
testing.
