(3) How will some of my young relatives be affected? Will they leave this country, seek deferments, willingly enter our armed services?
On the basis of my limited knowledge and understanding of Iran as a risk to the U.S. and the world in general, I think it was (at best) overreaction.
Worried myself about my grand-kids who are currently in service.
I have one grandson on a carrier. His parents aren’t rich.
Has a good head on his shoulders.
PRISONER of Histories circumstances at the moment.
Yeah, that is important too. No matter where people live, someone in a family somewhere grieves when a friend, family member, or their own child is killed because of war. Not good.
We’ve been “told” that these wars are necessary for this reason or that reason.
It doesn’t change the loss and devastation, no matter what the reasons may be.
I’ll never be a fan of war, whether it “benefits” my “safety” or not.
