1) Can I see a preview of the X content?
A) Ahem, do you mean you hover over the link and a “floating” preview is generated?
I have not seen that but it might be because of the add-ons and ‘/etc/hosts’ I use.No. Hovering does nothing. The content (usually a pic or static image of the first frame of the vid) displays under the link, along with the intro text. Both the link and the image are live; clicking on either opens a new tab to X on the content.
B) Could you post a screenshot of a working preview for reference?
Done. The same content I tested above. See below.
C) I suggest you examine the source of the web-page that displays the preview and compare it to this link.
Perhaps, there’s some magic not activated in the way the link is incorporated to the web-page, selection of cookies etc.Don’t have any idea what to look for, couldn’t modify it anyway.
New info: I can see the preview using antiX / Firefox 128.12.0esr. LMDE6 / Firefox 128.12.0esr does not display a preview.

There’s a platform called ‘Next Door’ I look at occasionally. Sorta fakebuuk lite. Very resource-intensive. The ND developers could use some non-bloat 101 instruction.
Edit 1 – No X link in image. Try screenshot again.
Edit 2 – Still no X link in image. Try Firefox screenshot next.
Edit 3 – Tried antiX screenshot (twice) and Firefox screenshot once. None display the X link above the image content unless the image is clicked. Weird… unless…, oversize?
