    Hi there, @hi_there, I know some people have experienced screen tearing with certain graphic cards not only in antiX.

    Anyway, it is possible this was introduced with some update since you’ve been experiencing it in the last two months only.
    If you can pinpoint more exact time of the 1st occurence, you could go through update logs (the ‘/var/log/apt/history.log*’ files) and narrow down the suspected changes.

    so I don’t think it is a hardware problem..

    Well, one never knows; it could be a faulty piece of technology that was put into your device but not into the other, pure and simple bad luck, or history of the device (a fall, much more intensive use etc).
