    I second what been stated above by sybok and others and restating.

    1. Physical inspection.
    2. Download system board (BIOS) from a trusted source and flash
    3. Replace or flash other accessory firmware, e.g., storage

    Unfortunately, manufacturers may not provide hashes to verify the eeprom images/firmware, but you can use archive.org as a reference.
