Currently, I run SysV init on a work-station (at work) with a MongoDB for which I only have an old service for SysV init; I can live without the DB but I’d prefer not to.
As long as I could upgrade without reinstall (upgrade from 23.2 will cost more and more time as bookworm moves towards its EOL) and SysV init would continue to be supported, I would not mind that much or I could consider using the multi-init derivative (if SysV init will still be there).
