As a non-technical end user, I do not really care about init systems, beyond having reviewed the arguments against systemd. What I care about, is that the system is snappy and works well on any hardware. As long as antiX continues doing just that, I’m fine. That said, I’ve been defaulting to sysV for a while, and it has served me well.
Punranger stated it perfectly for me. I have no love for any init. (I dislike systemd, but that’s off topic.) I think you should do as you like. Any init is fine with me. I’ll get used to it. 😉
