A couple of things here:

1) Password managers are not a good thing; neither are writing down passwords
on a piece of paper and opening the potential for someone to look at them or steal them.

2) In no real world situation should you use JUST a password on important things.

Even Email providers these days have multi-factor authentication, a combination of a
first entry point password, followed by either an authentication key, a series of questions
you create, or some other combination. Only the most basic tools might not *need* such
protection, but anything financial, personal, business critical or more than one of these
MUST have a few of these AND a fortress around the business network.
