I’m sitting in my car in a shady area of a soccer park, where my nephew has practice today and Wednesday.
He had a game here last Saturday on one of the elevated game fields. Today he’s at a practice field. I have an hour and a half wait; at least to me it’s a bit far to travel back and forth. I’ll be home for 30-45 minutes and have to return. If it was 5-10 minutes from my place that’s a different story. It’s a beautiful afternoon and I have the windows open and a gentle breeze is blowing occasionally to keep things comfortable.
Back at the soccer field for one more practice. I take my nephew to school tomorrow and bring his belongings home.
I may return here to see another game, but my wife got a ticket for a Saturday matinee movie, so I don’t think we’ll be going to a soccer game here on Saturday unless it’s an early game.
Another beautiful afternoon to have the windows open. There’s a fair amount of shade from nearby trees so the guys shouldn’t overheat unless they work really hard!
