Today I’m back to using the Doom Emacs editor as I’m listening to Detroit
Lions football. The Lions are at home, but due to regional restrictions,
FOX is carrying another game in our area. I have an NFL football app
so I can listen to the game and watch it later on.Lions are working a “two minute drill”, attempting to score before the
half. Before completing this drive, they are ahead by a touchdown:
Detroit Lions 21, Chicago Bears 14.The Lions SCORED on their two minute drive to go into the halftime
with a 28-14 lead.I guess the Bears are doomed in this one!
Good thing I have the right text editor!
By the way, regarding the football game, since FOX
has regional games in the area instead of the game I wanted
the initial broadcast, even on NFL Premium, was restricted
to an audio broadcast, with the smartphone video broadcast ten
minutes after completion of the game, so I listened to the game,
then watched it on my phone afterward. The final score was
ridiculous: Jared Goff absolutely had his day against the Bears
defense with FIVE touchdown passes. Final score Detroit 52, Chicago 21!
Didn’t do a lot of “text editing” during this one!
