On my sid install ICEWM
$ desktop-menu –version
desktop-menu version 3.33
@Xunzi_23 This is impossible, since the script in ver 3.33 has merely 698 lines, while your error message states an issue in line 723. You must have some version mismatch. 3.x and 4.x seem not to be interchangeable easily. So I guess this error you’ve reported is the upcoming 4.x version, not from legacy 3.33 or 3.34.
(Reason for asking that precisely is: If it is an error in 3.x, I’ll take care of it, while if it is in 4.x, Dave is the one who knows what to do.)
