I’m using the Doom Emacs Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
editor on my primary system today.

Earlier today I had a scare; without realizing it my antix.list
file in my package list had dev enabled; somehow this got changed
today, resulting in multiple unexpected things.

Fortunately I wrote about it and @anticapitalista asked me if
I had dev enabled. I checked; sure enough dev was listed so I
removed it, updated again and the correct packages were updated
without the unwanted extras appearing; problem solved and the
editors are back to work in their usual way.
