I’m using the Doom Emacs Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
editor on my primary system today.

Yesterday I encountered problems with my main antiX Full Runit
configuration, and my antiX Sid experiment wasn’t handling
audio, though video images would appear, just not sound, so
yesterday I reconfigured and reinstalled both. For the main
system I went back to an earlier setup and for Sid I put back
the previous Privacy Edition and things are better.

Regarding the main system:
Fortunately I wrote about it and @anticapitalista asked me if
I had dev enabled. I checked; sure enough dev was listed so I
removed it, updated again and the correct packages were updated
without the unwanted extras appearing; problem solved and the
editors are back to work in their usual way.
