Talking does not actually change the world even though it is, of course, necessary. Action is needed (and that is another topic).

In particular the currently and still hyped “social” media give proof of the fact that the word changes the world in an even more drastic and large-scaled way than any violent or physical revolution ever could. And this was well known already 500 b.C. in other cultural spheres.
AI is involved in this, since Chatbots are able to turn the public opinion in a society relying on social media bubbles easily. Those in control of the AI can multiply and effectively spread their points of view unnoticed in society, disguised as the words of real people, and faking being part of accepted consensus. Faking in public perception being majority, while merely protecting particular-interests.
So my stance is: Talking is what effectively changes the world, as long this is not about a dictatorial regime. Once a government turns into a dictatorship (or pseudo-democracy), you are right, then only physical action can change it to the better.
Windows is like a submarine. Open a window and serious problems will start.
