Great to see that @anticapitalista has started building some of the updated init software for the testing & dev repo.
The init-diversity Trixie a1 spin has the dev repo enabled by default which will lead to breakage in an apt upgrade, as I understand @anticapitalista may be shifting a few things around in his testing (s6-rc & runit mostly affected).
Maybe disable the dev repo if you want to avoid breakage (or leave it enabled if you are comfortable tinkering while trying to fix your system).
SysV OpenRC & s6-66 boot fine on all occassions on my install
