My suggestion? Just install a newer version of antiX (or wait a bit more and install antiX 25 when it comes out)

To that point antiX 23.2 is maintained and working well.
The antiX 25 release is currently in ALPHA (early) testing. It could possibly be ready near the end of the year or early next year.
23.2 is solid; package updates still occur and will continue to be supported at least a bit before giving way to future releases.
I’ll tell you something else. Though antiX 22 was good, some of the most significant improvement in years came between releases 22 and 23. Moreover 13.1 and 23.2 added additional updates.
I wouldn’t bother with 22 anymore; we all worked hard to develop and test the three updated releases since then.
