@PPC I was in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina AFTER the regular Spring/Summer/Fall busy season with families and young adults, so there were mostly senior citizens, and a lot of the noisy arcade and ride places were closed, leaving us white haired or baldy types hanging out. Many of us are still in good shape, so I saw a lot of senior walkers on the board walk. I also saw a few lightweight carts that are good for travel. My wife and I are considering one for her. She’s younger than me, but she’s had Cerebral Palsy since birth, so she’s always had mobility challenges, but otherwise we get along well and I always note that “The Wife is ALWAYS right!” We have plenty of fun with that, and I’m known as her “BESTEST” man – that line came from the old New York series called “Sex in the City”; one of the male characters referred to “man’s” rather than “man” and also said “BESTEST MANS’ so that’s stuck with us as one of our many one liners!
Anyway, electric carts or not, quite a few older retirees were still getting around very well, and their intelligence and general demeanor was a happy, welcome site!
