    I did a little research into the broken links in the menu application and here’s my report.
    The conclusion is that the Save options had nothing to do with it.

    Tested with Live USB, Runit, modern kernel (6.6.101-antix.1-amd64-smp), toram option.
    Tested with several lang settings.

    BOOT_IMAGE=/antiX/vmlinuz1 quiet disable=lxF init=runit lang=en_US kbd=us tz=America/New_York toram
    BOOT_IMAGE=/antiX/vmlinuz1 quiet disable=lxF init=runit lang=de_DE kbd=de tz=Europe/Berlin toram
    BOOT_IMAGE=/antiX/vmlinuz1 quiet disable=lxF init=runit lang=pt_BR kbd=br,us tz=America/Sao_Paulo toram
    BOOT_IMAGE=/antiX/vmlinuz1 quiet disable=lxF init=runit lang=ja_JP kbd=jp,us tz=Asia/Tokyo toram

    With lang=en_US, menu-applications in /etc/skel/.icewm/ and ~/.icewm/ are created as broken links.
    With de_DE, pt_BR, and ja_JP, the correct menu-applications are created.

    I also tried lang=en_US with the legacy kernel (5.10.240-antix.1-amd64-smp), but got the same results.

    I have no idea why this happens.
    I haven’t seen any similar reports, so maybe I’m just in another antiX world.

    Is the error message “cannot generate pixbuf from /usr/share/icons/papirus-antix/48×48/status/user-trash.ping” that appears when App Select is launched for the first time due to the path name being changed in antiX-25-full-beta1? Maybe so.

    *EDIT*
    The broken link issue with the menu-applications file occurs when configured using the Grub menu at boot time.
    This issue does not occur when configured using the legacy boot menu(syslinux)
