Those are very fundamental and while I have used dpkg, I don’t have a good level of competence/comfort yet.
The reference to apt is also very, very nice and if I am lucky enough to have future dependency issues, I will have a chance to try it.
**Perhaps a test setup for learning to deal with dependency issues using such tools in a virtual machine might be useful for many folks using Linux.
