    Hi stevesrO,

    antiX gives you the best learning tool on the market :-), make a clone of your installed sysem
    create a usb live stick, use it without persistence.

    Experiment all you like, if you break things just reboot and experiment some more.

    It is what I sometimes call the poor mans immutable Linux.
