    Yes, you are right. It was libfuse2 that was needed for appimage to run. Now, under Trixie I believe it assumed a different name – libfuse2t64, in the spirit of the ‘t64’ migration.
    However, in spite of this being installed, appimages, such as Ungoogled Chromium do not run. There must be more that is not in place on antiX 25 Beta1. For comparison, these same appimages just run fine on MX 25, and the same libfuse2t64 is in place in both.
