Broadcom is horrible, both hardware and the closed source drivers buggy.
I’m pretty sure I said this; if not, I’ve suggested it numerous times over the years.
One interim solution I used over the years was an AC600 Archer/TP-Link.
I’ve seen “other issues” mentioned about this, they are concerning the company
and the “security” of the interface, but I will say it’s worked for me when lacking a
solid network interface; I guess we have to choose if we want network stuff that works.
As far as integrated wireless network cards, Intel and Realtek have been very successful for me.
