    I checked out Doom Emacs, and also command line nvim and each of the four different graphical interfaces I have available for nvim this morning; all is well with each of them. I also briefly checked out levee and the gritter v4.0 version of vi and they work too. With the gritter vi, the only additional thing required is a very ancient TERMCAP, which I set up in my .bashrc, so I have to source that before running old gritter vi.
