been getting this whenever I run an inxi report with either s6-rc or s6-66; appears to be because BOTH of them have a specific service manager that does not look the same in appearance as the “other” init alternatives.
ONLY s6 to date has a dash, after which is the services component. RC, according to one quote, states “In Linux s6-rc, “RC” stands for “run commands,” referring to the service manager that manages the live state of a machine and its services. It allows for the control and management of services, including starting and stopping them as needed.”
