A good suggestion Admin, WICD is looking on eth0 while wireless is on eth1, easily switched in the preferences. But this relates to a previous post – why is the boot trying to swap eth0 to eth1 and eth1 to eth0 ? I never discovered why, just put up with it when it took place. Maybe using WICD and CENI indescriminately is causing them to get confused? The many networks in this building seem to be an ever-changing proposition, I connect automatically 10 or 20 times without trouble, then can’t and need CENI to find what’s there and replace the interface.
