I reinstalled; so far it’s working. I’ll reboot and confirm this.
All is well. Beta 2 is now functioning for me as expected. My setup did get messed up; it’s working now.
Each thing I add I’m carefully checking to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
All of the init alternatives are working normally, good response, wireless networking connects, all usual antiX functionality is present, and I was able to carefully add back several of the tools I like to use; success on all counts, so it was my setup, I just won’t know what caused it because I never found anything definitive to explain what was happening.
Anyway, the ending to Beta 2 is going well for me now that I got that resolved. Looking forward to what’s next.
