Hi anticapitalista,

I saw andfree’s issue and I said it couldn’t be as simple as you have to do ALL of them at the same time or apt goes nuts. That’s too obvious – because it happens all the time with Sid.

Why doesn’t apt act a little smarter?

(That is kind of a serious question, although perhaps the developers felt using “-f” or “-reinstall -install” or other magic phrases, or the “solver”, were more logical or comprehensive or elegant. It is painful being a perpetual noobie <g>.)
