    Maybe a handfull of users for their own reasons would want to use the newest backports version, and that’s totally OK.
    But I still feel the majority of users (myself included), wouldn’t want frequent updates (creating a few annoyances during updates) just to be on bleeding edge if the stable version does its job for them.
