I just tried “Select WiFi App” .. when I switched to ceni and did a scan, I got same huge output file. When I switched back to connman I got error message
“no WLAN entries found in /etc/network/interfaces…do you want to edit file”
Does that mean you had both running at the same time? (Dont have both ceni & connman open at once.)
Assuming you meant you closed ceni before running connman again, I would just advise that, in ceni, you may have to (potentially) wait a few minutes while it detects the networks. During this time, I have seen ceni spit out lots of crazy text, but after a while, it clears and gives a list of networks to connect to.
So, you may have to wait a little longer.
Why does ceni do that? I have no idea. But once it is set up, it normally loads very fast during bootup. (Be sure to select automatic (not “hot-plug” or “manual”) during configuration.)
