I was about to write back to you thanking for the suggestion in your previous post. I do understand what you mean and would gladly try it, but without a keyboard I cannot imagine how to do it.
In my quest for a solution I placed a question in Chat GPT. I had never used it before and was astounded with the precise information received. The suggestion tallies with yours about using an external USB keyboard. I’ll probably buy a cheap one since no one in my family has one.
Will keep you posted on this issue as soon as possible.

I have been away on vacation, but I’m glad to hear this news. When you have a working keyboard, I believe that the things we’ve been discussing with you may get resolved soon after that keyboard is working. Best wishes!
