@grindstone it is very similar to antiX-full-to-base script in structure, but with a modified removal list .
it is indeed overkill . I purged as much as stuff possible , without breaking dbus , slimski and xorg .
the result for me is around 700Mb (xz) yet multi-init with all Wms .
