I have booted and tested with and without EFI, no boot in either case.
Could this have something to do with the init used, in my case s6-rc
I may try again after booting with runit.
As for signed kernel, it will be needed here so I will keep trying to
figure out what is wrong, but it is probably above my pay grade.
Repeated Covid infections have really messed with my thinking capability.
