    Hi, few comments:
    * It seems that Atom N570 can do 64-bit trough Intel 64, if enabled; see e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Atom
    * You may consider ‘mpv’ instead of ‘vlc’; disclaimer: despite ‘mpv’ is more lightweight, I prefer ‘vlc’ as I am more used to it.

    But nowadays 32Bit seems to be hated all around the world…

    I do not think it is, it’s just being made obsolete (from the original The Twilight Zone) by cutting the SW support by the SW providers.
    If some member of the free SW step up (significantly more likely backed by donors) to carry on, it might live longer.
