Yes, I had two suggestions: that post (there are already 2 posts previous to yours about the very same subject) and also please always try searching the forum before posting any question.
That said, I don’t want to sound like a “read the manual” kind of guy – I got the very same problem when trying to install antiX in my netbook. Your are not doing anything wrong in your attempt to install antiX. Every new version of any OS comes out with a few kinks or bugs. In antiX 26, in some systems, the installer version that is included can fail (usually at 93%). Yes, that a pretty epic bug. Any OS should be able to finish the installation and then be updated. Don’t let that scare you away from antiX – both anticapitalista and the rest of the crew and the community are usually pretty damn fast finding bugs and solving them or suggestion workarounds.
In this case, if, like me, you don’t have space, when running antiX in live mode, to update the complete system, try simply updating the sources AND just the installer.
ex:
Left click on the antiX menu > Terminal > then type (or copy and paste this command)
sudo apt update && sudo apt install antix-installer
press enter to run the command and, if prompted for a password, it should be demo followed by pressing the enter key.
PS: I’m not trying to be pretentious – since I have no way of knowing how skilled you are at Linux, I wrote this tiny “Tutorial” that most people with a similar problem can follow, no matter how bad they are with computers.
