I’ve just found the 6.6.137 (64bit) version of the kernel executing the command in step 3 of @Robin’s message above and then completed the upgrade procedure with success. Thanks again, @Robin!!

And THANK YOU very much, @anticapitalista, for providing the upgrade so quickly! Unlike Brian I don’t know the details of how much work is that, but I can imagine that it’s only possible combining much knowledge with huge dedication and attention to detail, all in record time. Beyond real understanding for the very basic users like me…
