This turned out to be significant.
For a while the la.mxrepo.com wasn’t working correctly but it is clearly fixed and the other one (osuosl.org) is not completely correct and does not have the latest updates. I hope that BOTH of these repos can be consistently fixed. As just noted, a while ago I ditched la.mxrepo.com, now I’ve had to ditch osuosl.org.
One of us, (I think it was Robin), noted that we have some inconsistent repos out there. It’s important to figure out which repos are being accurately and consistently replicated and which are not. I remember seeing something about this, but I believe it needs more attention. Hopefully I can help, but I’m not sure I can lead; too much to learn quickly. Do we already have a few people who have a solid “handle” on this? If so, and I have information (and maybe a few others get what is needed, a small team of us could split up the lists and figure out what IS working and what is NOT working.
If this is already taking place, please let me know; if not, this is another task that needs attention.
