    An option that is not used as much as it could be for sure; added it a while ago.
    If I recall correctly:
    – enabled in ~/.desktop-session/desktop-session.conf by setting LOAD_SHUTDOWN_FILE=true
    – script file existing as ~/.desktop-session/shutdown and has execute permission

    Have not tested a standard install for a while. My locally installed version of desktop-session is different from the standard one.
