    oh, ok. Good to know. So kill pipewire, then try it in terminal. done! WOW! now it works! The startup ogg still works too. I also checked my music app (Clementine) and music still works good to. So I guess I’ll just leave pipewire disabled. thx guys for helping me. Just gets me to love antiX all the more!

    antiX 26 Stephen Kapos 5.10.240-antiX.1-486-smp on a Pentium IV @ 2 Ghz and 2 GB of RAM. 2002 Gateway desktop. 140 GB hdd has "/" and 100 GB partition on 2nd drive has "/Home" using IceWM de. Dual booting with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS on another partition.
