I forgot about that, but I also hasten to mention that Connman had some update in the past year or so and whenever that was, it’s been rock solid for me. It used to take a while to connect; now it’s almost equal to other network managers in speed and functionality; sometimes it connects immediately, but in any case it rarely takes long. I do give my systems a few seconds to get all of the startup stuff completed, and usually Connman is working and connected by that time.
Yes, indeed. While I am using Network Manager now exclusively in my 64bit antiX instances, I am using Connman in my 32bit antiX instances and I have no issues that I noticed. My 32bit antiX instances are highly optimized and CMST does not require any systray to stay in. My 32bit instances are rock solid too, running aCSTV and music servers…
