Posting this from wifi.
I still can’t get connman to work for me, but I think I found a solution: connecting manually with wpa_supplicant and dhcpc, and a few other steps. not really sure what I’m doing but its working, and now I have pages of study material to try learning what the hell I just did and then make it persistent. I appreciate all of the support and tips!
