    Hi @valera…
    In this separate post I just want to report that MXD works better and better but I have discovered new issues I did not get to testing before.
    The good:
    – Shutdown/Reboot works now properly
    – Synaptic starts from menu fine (no need for sudo su in a terminal, etc). Although today’s update to synaptic antiX version breaks it, so i did not update that until I figure this out.
    – Dinit service manager works now from the menu, displaying the correct status and ticks on the left.
    – Maybe some other improvements I did not include above.

    What does not work:
    – Live-usb-maker does not work properly. I did not notice before perhaps because I ran it in my ‘production’ antiX 26, so there was no propblem, but running in MXD live-usb-maker fails at some point before actual execution. Might be authorization issue.
    – Now the biggest problem for me: broadcom-sta-dkms fails to build clean, comes back with code 1 in post-install process, referencing initramfs issue, which also faailed to update today.
    Now this broadcom-sta-dkms is a huge issue for me because the whole bunch of my laptops, especially three different Apple Macbooks use Broadcom chips, so MXD does not run on them. Could be that MXD is based on sid repos, because I had no such issue with antiX 26, the same kernel 6.19.14 or MX ahs, where broadcom-sta-dkms built with no issues.
    Other than that MXD runs fine on any other laptop I throw it at… Particularly on my Dell Latitude E6410 MXD runs great, while my runit instance of my customized antiX 26 runs on it extremely slow with the same kernel. Specific to that machine only. I am always using identical image to test on every laptop or desktop. This is a mystery I do not understand but will find out sooner or later…
    Just if we can resolve the issue with broadcom-sta-dkms aand updaate issue of initramfs thaat would be a big step forward for me…
